Obsolete electronic components have great demand in market

Almost all manufacturing industries rely heavily on assembled or specially manufactured electronic components. These customised components have different utilities and are required for manufacturing various devices. Industries like steel, electronic goods, automation and telecommunication make bulk purchases for electronic components. Most of these components are supplied to these industries by distributors and agents.

Companies also spend heavily on acquiring multi purpose integrated circuits that have great significance in present times. These integrated circuits, also known as IC in short are required by companies engaged in the manufacturing of semi conductors and related devices.

The ICs are made of materials such as silicon, germanium and gallium arsenide. Over the years, ICs have undergone various changes and have become smaller and more compact. South East Asian countries like Taiwan, Singapore, China and South Korea have emerged as the chief manufacturers of these integrated circuits that are being used in a number of electronic appliances including the computers.

While the demand for these tools is gaining considerable popularity, availability of multiple vendors is creating stiff competition in the industry. However, there is still a great dearth of adequate information and paucity of an extensive IC Catalog which can supply complete details about IC suppliers and their product range.

Furthermore, there is hardly any obsolete IC catalog available on the net that can give an in depth information about vendors and suppliers offering such obsolete or discontinued ICs.

With IC purchasers increasingly browsing through the Internet to gain adequate information about ICs and similar electronic components, it seems that the market for these devices will grow significantly.
